A Free Fall Festival at Miami’s Japanese Garden — Sunday, November 1
The Ichimura garden on Watson Island invites you to a Japanese culture festival from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free — bring cash.
And now, some good news! This Sunday, November 1, Miami’s Japanese Garden is hosting a free fall festival.
The Ichimura Miami-Japan Garden sits on Watson Island, right between downtown and Miami Beach: 1101 MacArthur Causeway, Miami, FL 33139. The festival runs from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and admission is free. It’s organized by volunteers from the garden’s friends society, and it happens rain or shine.
- come early: the space is small and it draws a big crowd;
- bring cash — it’s the only payment accepted at the festival;
- if Sunday doesn’t work for you, the garden itself is open for free every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
My advice: don’t forget the clocks change that same night, so check the time in the morning. The full program is on the garden’s website.
