The G20 Summit Is Coming to Miami on December 14–15
Leaders of the world’s largest economies will meet at the Trump National Doral resort. Miami is preparing for heightened security.
News for everyone who lives in Miami.
On December 14–15, 2026, Doral will host the G20 summit at the Trump National Doral resort. It’s a meeting of leaders from the world’s largest economies, and this year the US is the host country.
Miami-Dade security agencies are already preparing. If you live or work near Doral, build in extra travel time on those days: expect possible road closures and tighter security checks. As soon as official closure maps are released, I’ll post them.
