Free Halloween in Miami: Where to Go With Kids in the Days Ahead
Free celebrations with candy and haunted houses — from South Dade to Wynwood.
And now, some good news for Miami families!
Halloween is just over a week away, and Miami-Dade County is full of free celebrations. Here are the ones CBS Miami has confirmed:
- Friday, October 23, 5–8 p.m. — Spook & Slam at the South Dade YMCA (9355 SW 134th St): trunk-or-treat candy, a haunted house and food trucks;
- Friday, October 23 — Spook-tacular at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center in Cutler Bay, with a “spooky symphony” concert;
- Wednesday, October 28, 6 p.m. — Trunk-or-Treat hosted by Miami-Dade Schools Police (3300 NW 27th Ave);
- Saturday, October 31, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. — HalloWYN, Wynwood’s official free street party (this one is for grown-ups).
My advice: check the organizer’s page before you head out — some events ask you to register in advance. And don’t forget your costumes!
