Friends, if you have loved ones in Spain, check in and make sure they’re okay.

Heavy rain slammed eastern Spain: the Valencia region, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. In some places, up to 700 liters of water per square meter fell in a single day. At least four people died, and emergency crews carried out more than 400 rescue operations by air and on the ground.

Authorities asked residents to stay home. If you’re in these regions right now, keep an eye on alerts from local emergency services.
